PUBLIC NOTICE 

SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY 

 

The High Point Regional High School Board of Education has an open seat for a 
Wantage Resident, and is seeking candidates to fill the vacancy through December 
2022. The Board will be holding interviews during the Tuesday, July 26, 2022 meeting 
(6:00 p.m.). 

 

To become a member of a local board of education in New Jersey, you must: 

 

• Be able to read and write 

• Hold U.S. citizenship and one (1) year’s residency in Wantage Township 

• Be registered to vote in the district before filing the letter of interest 

• Have no interest in any contract with, or claim against, the High Point Regional Board 

 of Education 

 

(Within 30 days of election or appointment to the board, a member must 

undergo a criminal history background investigation through the state 

Department of Education) 

 

After the interview process, the Board is expected to appoint a candidate 

to the vacated seat at the Tuesday, August 23, 2022 meeting (6:00 p.m.).
