Art class gives students an opportunity to find out who they are. It is a place for students to use their brains in a different way. Arts education makes students into better thinkers and problem solvers. It is a place where they can learn about themselves and the world around them. Through carefully designed lessons that teach about different cultures, the elements of design, and self-expression, our art classes give students the opportunity to grow as individuals, develop sensitivities to others, and learn to work and create in a meaningful and productive way. We believe arts education to be a very rare and valuable learning experience. High Point Regional High School offers two courses specifically for the beginning art student:
