Biology A 1.12 

Biology is the study of the relationship of living organisms. All levels meet six periods a week and have a strong foundation of lab work. All three levels include the topics of energy, cells, heredity, genetic code, evolution, classification and systems and functions. 

The Academic course covers topics with an emphasis on principles and concepts. An independent project is a requirement for this course. Students entering Biology Academic in the fall will be required to complete a summer homework assignment which will be distributed in June.

Prerequisites: "C" in Foundations of Science A
