My name is Becky Patterson, and I have been teaching at High Point since 2001.  I have a bachelors degree in Marine Biology and Teacher Education from The Richard Stockton College of NJ.   Before coming to High Point, I worked for the NJ Fish and Wildlife Service doing research on the striped bass population in New Jersey.  I also worked in the Education Department at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.  But now, I think that I have found my home here in Sussex County and at High Point High School.  Here at High Point, I have had the distinct pleasure of teaching biology, science enrichment, being the girls head soccer coach and the boys head track and field coach.  In my spare time I love to run, read and travel.  It is my sincere hope that my experiences and love for science will have a significant impact in my classroom and on the athletic field.
