1. You will be walking a lot. Dress
for comfort and wear comfortable shoes or nice sneakers, preferably not
brand new
to avoid blisters.
2. Dress neat and clean. You will
be entering public buildings and national monuments. Remember, all pocketbooks
and packages may be checked as you
enter. The following will NOT be allowed as dress clothing:
halters, worn or
patched jeans, tank tops, half shirts,
patched, worn or frayed clothing of any kind. Remember, you are representing
your
school and town.
3. Stay together with your group.
When a person gets lost, the entire group wastes valuable sightseeing time.
Groups
will be accompanied by a chaperone
at all times. At no time will a student be allowed to go
off on his/her own.
4. Bring along sufficient film and
flash bulbs for your camera. They will be more expensive elsewhere. Keep
your
camera and film/flash with you,
not packed or left in your motel room.
5. Be sure to bring rainwear. We will sightsee rain or shine.
6. Leave large radios and tape players at home. Walkmans will be permitted.
7. Pay very careful attention to
all signs and instructions given at the various attractions. Ignorance
of or non-
compliance with expected behavior
can cause you or your entire group to be expelled from the area.
8. Ask questions. Your guide or driver may have the information you desire.
9. Take advantage of the meals provided
on your tour. You will need to eat well to keep up with the hectic pace.
All
meals have been paid for, so EAT!
10. USE/POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL
OR DRUGS will not be permitted at any time. Use of alcohol/drugs
will
cause denial of transportation by
the bus company to person or persons involved and will result in the student's
or
students' parents being called immediately.
Parents will be responsible for transporting students home. That student
or
students will not complete the tour
or trip.
11. Smoking by students is not permitted
12. Passengers should remain seated
when the coach is in motion for obvious reasons. Your bus is climate controlled.
Windows will not be opened unless
instructed by the driver.
13. IF NECESSARY, chaperones will locate themselves throughout the coach to maintain decorum.
